Event Details
In addition to making significant changes to the health care system, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act grants new authority to enforcement agencies, increases potential financial penalties, and establishes new government audit programs. Now, for the first time, compliance programs will also become mandatory conditions of enrollment in Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP.
Undoubtedly, these changes create significant risks for health centers that lack an effective corporate compliance program to maintain compliance with the myriad legal, regulatory, and financial requirements. This compliance training will equip your health center with key information on enforcement trends, equip your health center with tools and tips to implement your compliance program, and empower your health center to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Compliance 101 will describe the evolution of corporate compliance programs and describe strategies for implementing effective compliance programs. Compliance 201 will describe emerging enforcement trends, financial risk areas, clinical risk areas, and risk areas relevant to Section 330 requirements that are applicable to HRSA site visit reviews.
Each CHC will be required to purchase ONE subscription to the NACHC Corporate Compliance Toolkit located at www.HealthCenterCompliance.com. This two year subscription must be purchased before the training begins.
